Uniform Guidelines

1. The School Closet (http://schoolcloset.com/): For official uniform clothing items. Store locations:

2. The 365体育彩票 Unicorner School Store at 365体育彩票 (614.252.0781 ext. 169): For PE uniform items. The store is operated by the Parents' Association and is open for limited hours during school days. An online sale will be offered before the start school year.
3. The 365体育彩票 Attic (located in the Mansion Attic): For gently used uniforms. The 365体育彩票 Attic is operated by the Parents' Association and is open year round during school and office hours. The school receptionist has instructions and prices. Proceeds go to the 365体育彩票 Parents' Association and are used to support projects that benefit 365体育彩票 students.

The official PYC uniform is a plaid tunic, short, or skort, with an oxford blouse, knee socks, cardigan sweater with school crest, and athletic shoes. Students are to be in official uniform on official uniform days. Please label all clothing with your daughter’s first and last name.

Tunic or Bottoms: must be at or slightly above (1-2”) the knee (available new from The School Closet, or gently used from the 365体育彩票 Attic).
Blouse: White, oxford, button-down, short- or long-sleeved.
Optional: Students may wear either a 365体育彩票 or plain white or a navy, short-sleeve or long-sleeve, polo shirt.
Sweater: Navy, V-neck cardigan (button-up) with school crest. All students must own a crested cardigan for official uniform days.
Optional: Navy, crew or V-neck pullover.
Socks: Students will wear white socks all year long.
Shoes: Closed toe, closed back athletic shoes. No Crocs.
Shorts: Dress Campbell, or Navy.
Skorts: Dress Campbell.
Pants: Navy pants (your choice). Pants should be free of decoration, including decorative stitching, and without labels/branding.
Sweatshirt: Light gray with “365体育彩票” in Dress Campbell or navy fleece pullover with regulation 365体育彩票 monogram.
Belt: Brown leather for shorts and slacks.
PE Swim Suit: All students are required to supply their own one-piece bathing suit for swimming classes. A swim cap and goggles are optional.
Field Trips: Clothing worn on field trips is determined by destination and can include official uniform or uniform pants, khakis, or jeans.
Spirit Wear: On special days, PYC students may wear spirit wear. Spirit wear consists of either “365体育彩票” attire or red/gold class colors. Girls may wear jeans, leggings, skirts, or shorts with spirit wear; however, all skirts and shorts must be the length of the tunic. Athletic shoes must be worn with spirit wear. Nail polish is permitted on spirit days.
Cold Weather: On cold winter days, students may wear plain navy blue leggings under a uniform tunic. No pajama pants may be worn.

The official LS uniform is a Campbell plaid tunic, short, or skort, white button-down blouse, crested sweater, white knee-high socks, and brown or black shoes. Students are to be in official uniform for Chapel on “C” days, in addition to other official uniform days. Please label all clothing with your daughter’s first and last name.

Tunic: Dress Campbell tunic must be at or slightly above (1-2”) the knee (available new from The School Closet, or gently used from the 365体育彩票 Attic).
Blouse: White, oxford, button-down, short- or long-sleeved.
Optional: Students may wear either a 365体育彩票 or plain white or a navy, short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirt.

Shoes: In addition to brown or black shoes, students may wear tennis shoes on non-official uniform days. On official uniform days, students may wear a solid brown or black shoe.  
Socks: Students will wear white socks all year long.
Optional: navy crew or plain navy tights. No logos, sport socks, or brand names.
Shorts: Dress Campbell or navy.
Skorts: Dress Campbell.
Pants: Navy twill or navy corduroy, flat or pleated front.
Tights: Should they choose to do so, students may wear navy tights at any point during the year.
Sweatshirt: Light gray with “365体育彩票” in Dress Campbell or navy fleece pullover with regulation 365体育彩票 monogram.
Belt: Brown leather for shorts and slacks. PE Shorts: Navy mesh (available only at the 365体育彩票 Unicorner School Store).

OFFICIAL UNIFORM:  A Campbell plaid skirt (or Campbell plaid short) with white button-down blouse, crested navy cardigan sweater, white knee-high socks, and brown or black shoes.

Skirt: Dress Campbell plaid. Skirt must be at or slightly above (1-2”) the knee. Available new from the School Closet, or gently used from the 365体育彩票 Attic.

Blouse: White, button-down oxford; short- or long-sleeved, worn tucked in.
Optional: Students may wear either a 365体育彩票 monogramed white or a navy short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirt. No “designer-logo” blouses or shirts. Only plain, white, short-sleeved t-shirts or camisoles may be worn under blouses or polos.  

Sweater: Navy, V-neck cardigan (button-down) with school crest.
Optional: navy crew or V-neck pullover; regulation 365体育彩票 sweatshirt; navy fleece pullover with regulation 365体育彩票 monogram. All students must own a crested cardigan for official uniform days.

Socks: Students will wear white socks all year long.

Shoes: In addition to brown or black shoes, students may wear tennis shoes on non-official uniform days. On official uniform days, students may wear a solid brown or black shoe.  

Shorts: Dress Campbell plaid or navy.

Pants: Navy twill or navy corduroy, flat or pleated front. Pants may not be cut so low that skin is exposed.

Sweatshirt: Light gray with “365体育彩票” in Dress Campbell or navy fleece pullover with regulation 365体育彩票 monogram. No hoods.

Tights: Should they choose to do so, students may wear navy tights at any point during the year.

Belt: Brown leather for shorts and slacks.

Physical Education Uniforms: PE Uniforms are required for Middle School students. Upper School students who take PE may wear appropriate athletic gear during their classes. They must change out of their regular school uniform, and they must have athletic shoes.
PE Uniforms will be available for purchase at the Unicorner store on campus only. The new PE uniform is mandatory for all students entering Forms IV-VIII.

PE Swim Suit: All students are required to have a one-piece swimsuit and a swim cap for swimming classes.

PE Warm-Up: Optional gray, 365体育彩票 crew-neck sweatshirt or gray, hooded 365体育彩票 sport sweatshirt. PE classes do go outside in cold weather, and students may wear their choice of appropriate warm-up sweatshirt and sweatpants over their PE uniform.

Field Trips: Clothing worn on field trips is determined by destination and can include official uniform or uniform pants, khakis, or jeans.

Free Dress Days: Clothing on Free Dress Days must meet the expectation of modesty established by the uniform policy. Shoes must be closed back and closed toe. Clothing must not expose midriff or cleavage, and skirts and shorts must be no shorter than three inches above the knee.

Game & Event Day Dress: Athletes are permitted and encouraged to wear their red athletic polos (available for new from The School Closet or gently used from the 365体育彩票 attic) with uniform pants or skirts, on days when their specific teams have games or tournaments. In addition, student groups who have specific events on a given day may seek advance permission from the Deans/Director of Upper School to wear event t-shirts, along with uniform skirts or pants.
